After oh, I don't know, maybe about 1,000+ checks on the athlete split page, my finishing video is finally up. It reminded me of something significant I didn't post already. Coming into to final stretch, I heard the song "In a Big Country" playing. How fitting that my favorite song (I know, I know...) was playing as I hit that final stretch. I think Ironman was trying to kill me with adrenaline. The song contains one line that I thought of often at boot camp to pull me through difficult times. It all tied in nicely with the difficult times I went through during Ironman training and how I rallied to finish strong in the race...
"Pull up your head off the floor, come up screaming..."
