Thys tested and reviewed at pair of Newton Running Shoes for our blog at work. Absolutely loved them. After hearing Thys rave about them and watching a YouTube video on Newton Running Shoes I decided that I should try forefoot running. One of my two workouts since the Duke Half Ironman was a short jaunt running forefoot style. Some people recommend incorporating that style of running via progressively longer intervals... others recommend a ChiRunning class. I'm not sure I could committ to a class, but we'll see how it goes. If I remember correctly InsideOut Sports will be hosting a big Newton extravaganza soon.

To the 20-30 people who stop by here even though I haven't posted anything in weeks... THANKS! I still intend to keep up this blog, but work is crazy. Exercise is just something I day dream about now. Hopefully after October is over I'll have time to get out and run again. As it stands, I haven't worked out but twice since the Duke Half Ironman a month ago.
